Waitin', the sound is coming all the world could stay or fallin' 'cause everything is perfectly in tune Dreamin' as the sun is burnin' bitter things wake up and crawlin', sick and tired of being in the shade just wait your time, to come Wait, man don't move too fast things are come to you at last but don't forget the travel is your thing Take care of your hidden sun, It will guide you till you've done but don't regret the past is out of sight Everything is perfectly in tune (x4) Don't waste your pure mind have you seen that's the best you got don't say you don't work hard you know that's not so kind So don't look back, honestly, I don't think works great Scattered sounds, all the way, glimpses of joyful noise Written by Mario Evangelista

Wastin' my time starin' it's fine growin' with the grass aging fast Lights pointing at me trees are filtering the moon and dogs are barking fast it couldn't last But now I'm wonderin' too much, I've pushed myself too hard Pictures are goin' wild I can travel thru the leaves Your face is all I see Even joy can't stop that feel And I pay my bills Now that years are made of memories I can watch them, thin as paper sheets scattered in the wind full of sins But now I'm wonderin' too much, I've pushed myself too hard Pictures are goin' wild

Can you tell the truth? My dear old seagull are you seeing me, in the grey? Swimming in the wind clouds as dear friends did you recognize the way? Something now is changed things don't look the same waving at me as they go, away Pictures on the wall smile at me forever can you bring them home, together? maybe if I try I can reach them in the present closing my eyes for a breath Something now is changed things don't look the same waving at me as they go, away

I have seen what it's been wastin' my time Seems to work so fine First of all, to be true I'd rather go blind Seein’ those things destroys my mind Do you close the eyes in the morning, just to hear the sheets between you and me? Have you tried to walk down the corner without regrettin’ anything? Shakin' trees by the wind Honey in the sun Say goodbye to what came first Ticking clocks wearing socks years passing by clearly is what you like Do you close the eyes in the morning, just to hear the sheets between you and me? Have you tried to walk down the corner without regrettin' anything?

about

Pitchtorch, an alt-folk trio with members of The Gutbuckets, Guano Padano and The Vickers, will release self-titled debut album on September, 20th 2019

“Pitchtorch is the ideal fusion of two words– pitchfork and pitch torch – and represents music as a light that can guide you through these dark times, not just musically speaking. Pitchtorch is a tuning fork but it’s also a lantern that marks the path to be taken”.

A tuning fork, a torch that radiates bright sounds. This is in the Pitchtorch logo, made by Nazario Graziano. Pitchtorch is the new project that “tunes” together, for the first time, three musicians – based between Florence and Milan – with relevant and different experiences: guitarist, composer and session player Mario Evangelista (The Gutbuckets, as well as author of music fort short films and commercials), bassist and double bass player Danilo Gallo (Guano Padano) and drummer Marco Biagiotti (The Vickers).
